04How it works

auto_delete_days: click data older than this many days is deleted each night (0 keeps it). scheduled_deletion: a one-off deletion delete-before scheduled — the cron job deletes every click all of whose visits were recorded before cutoff_time (midnight that begins before); clicks_remaining counts those still there. An install that scheduled one before cutoff_time existed shows through_click_id instead (cutoff_time null): the clicks below that id go. null when none was scheduled.

05For agents

Running this from an agent

  • Read the same facts as JSON: p202 commands system retention show --json.
  • With AI_AGENT, CLAUDECODE or another agent variable set, output is compact JSON and errors arrive on stderr as a JSON envelope with a hint.
  • Exit codes: 0 ok, 1 bad input, 2 auth, 3 network, 4 server error, 5 partial failure.
