Downloading Prosper202

Prosper202 ClickServer is free to download from my.tracking202.com:

  1. Create a free account (or sign in).
  2. Join the free CPM* Newsletter with your account’s e-mail address. The download page in your account does it in one click, and the download unlocks straight away.
  3. Download the latest release.

The download already includes the PHP dependencies, so nothing has to be compiled on your server.

During setup you’ll paste in the API key from the same account; the setup wizard’s “Get my API key” button takes you there. For free accounts created since 1 October 2026, the dashboard also stays locked unless the account’s e-mail is on the CPM* Newsletter (your tracking keeps running either way).

System Requirements

  • PHP 8.3 or newer
  • MySQL 8.0+ or MariaDB 10.6+ (check with SELECT VERSION(); before you start: the 1.9.76 installer and upgrade page can miss MariaDB 10.1 to 10.5; that will be fixed in the next release, 1.9.77)
  • Nginx with PHP-FPM (recommended) or Apache

We recommend at least VPS hosting, as some shared hosting services don’t run Prosper202 well. If you need a host, see our web hosting recommendations. If you’re unsure whether your host meets these requirements, ask them: most hosts can, just not always by default.

Installing Prosper202

No terminal (shared or cPanel hosting):

  1. Upload the downloaded zip to your web root and extract it (cPanel File Manager → Upload → Extract, or FTP).
  2. Browse to your site. The setup wizard checks the requirements, creates the database for you, asks for your API key, and creates your admin account. There’s no config file to edit.

With a terminal (VPS, local or Docker): clone the repository and run ./install.sh, or use Docker. The steps are in the README on GitHub.

Note: Please install Prosper on its own domain. Although some people have installed it on a subdomain or a subdirectory, this is not recommended.

Upgrading an Existing Install

Upgrading to 1.9.76 is one-way, and it needs PHP 8.3+ and MySQL 8.0+ or MariaDB 10.6+. Back up your files and database first. See Upgrading Prosper202.
