At long last, we are happy to announce the release of Prosper202 version 1.5 With it comes a wide range of powerful features designed to enhance your marketing campaigns. Below is a list of the new features we've added:
New Affiliate Link Format
Getting your affiliate links into the software is now easier than ever. No more having to reformat links to ensure the subid variable is at the end of your link.
The new [[subid]] token allows for a quick, easy and less error prone way to enter your affiliate links into the system.
New Tracking variable
You've been asking for it and now you have it. Four new tracking variables to use as you see fit. New c1,c2,c3,c4 variables have been added to Tracking202, so that much like hitpath, traffic can be broken down by the values of these variables. This means you don't have to rely on only the t202kw variable for passing extra data into your tracking system. This change allows an extra level of granularity for your data analysis, allowing you to easily optimize campaigns in ways that were not possible in the past.
Multiple Action Tracking
Tracking202 now has the ability to track actions and revenues from a single click. In the past, this information wasn't tracked completely. For users, this means that lead tracking will be more accurate and multiple conversions will be correctly attributed to it's offer.
Redirect pass-through variables
Outbound links (your affiliate links in step #3) can now have values besides subid passed out. This allows for users to create a redirect link like:
http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&q=[[c1]]#[[subid]]
In the above example, whatever you add on the C1 variable on your redirect link will be passed in to Google as a query.
Grouping report
The group by report allows for MUCH more powerful reporting features, and basically takes the place of all other tracking reports in Tracking202. Other reports still exist for backward compatibility, but power users who understand how to use the grouping report would never need to use any of the other reports again, as it is much more powerful.
Tracking domain
Each install can now utilize a custom tracking domain. This replaces every link in the system with whatever tracking domain you provide and allows you to secure and mask your installed domain. Additionally you now have the ability to have a tracking domain that better matches the niche of the offer you are promoting.
