Hello,

First, thanks for an amazing product. I'm quite new in the AM business, but I can already tell this is a "must-have tool".

Mainly, I'm promoting products/offers targeted the European market. From my experience, TradeDoubler has the best offers for the European market and therefore I would like to make sure how TD's EPI works with P202.

From what I have understood I can add &epi= in my url. The examples my affiliate manager has shown me includes &epi= in the middle of the url.

Example: http://clk.tradedoubler.com/click?p=xxxxx&a=xxxxxx&g=0&epi=xxxxx&url=http://tester.com/deeplink

That results the &epi tag is not the last part of the url, which tells me I can't use P202.

Does anyone know if an url like this would work:

http://clk.tradedoubler.com/click?p=xxxxx&a=xxxxxx&g=0&url=http://tester.com/deeplink&epi=xxxxx

Thanks for taking your time to read this post.

With best regards,

Turtle

Hi Turtle,

I am not sure, you would have to test this link. The network can usually test the link to see if the subid will go through for you since its a deep link. Normally if its not a deep link for sure it should work. But since there is a deep link, I can't say for certain but they should be able to test fire off your aff link to find out.

Thanks Steven,

I will test and buy a random product and let everyone know as soon as I know.

Again, thanks for a perfect product.

Update:

I bought an item through my aff-link and placed the EPI-tag at the end of the url and it didn't track the EPI.

Any plans of implementing a solution in P202/T202/T202-pro?

TradeDoubler, Zanox and Netaffiliation are must have networks for the European Market.

@Turtle: check this explanation from Wes and see if works at TradeDoubler - https://dashboard.tracking202.com/forum/6/25/epn-tracking-links-with-custom-url

Zelv, I have spoken with the Head of Publishers at TradeDoubler and the EPI-tag is not a variable, which can be "moved" in the url - as it is in the eBay-thread you referred to.

The Head of Publishers has forwarded this to the techs - I will keep you updated.

Would it be possible to pay someone at P202 to customize P202 to work with TradeDoubler?

This will be updated in a future update but due to the high number of things to complete, it may take a bit for us to get around to finishing this update.

Any news on this one? I've got the same issue and can't implement P202 tracking until it's resolved.

I've also got a slight concern that the 34 deep-links featured on my main landing page will mean a huge pile of javascript clogging up the page and causing issues. Does anyone else have this problem?

Many thanks
