I'm promoting a few products through commission junction. I wanted to know would I be able to send a customer directly to a certain page without using my affiliate link? Basically lets say my affiliate link is http://www.jdowocy.com/click-3267690-10536171. To make my question clear. I'm promoting dish network so a link like this would take the customer to the homepage. What if I used the url that has specifically displays receivers, would I still receive commissions since I directed them to a different page through my link?

looks like your wondering about deep-linking, yes you could do this but it would require some custom modification:

http://prosper202.com/forum/search?q=deep+linking

but the easiest way would just be to hardcode in the deeped-link url in step 3, under aff campaigns.

I'm sorry T202Wes, I know your busy answering other questions but I didnt quite get how to deep link. I might need another example. Can I see another reference? How do I deep link any of my urls?

Sure not a problem, I don't really have any other references at this point. It is pretty simple though, the simplest way is this

1) get your affiliate url, that you'd use for the deep link

2) enter this url into tracking202 as a new campaign (make sure the affiliate link has the propery subid syntax setup) see videos for reference if your not sure what I mean

3) generate your tracking urls for this campaign
