For anyone advertising on FB, you know that deploying and tracking ads and adjusting bids is a FT job. FB Ad Mgr. promises to help on the ad deployment end of things, and several new (expensive) agency tools have come out recently that automate both the deployment and bid process.

Question for the forum: is there an effective way to track FB ads (impressions, CTR, conversions) all within 202? Ideally, I'd want to sort ads by top performing to worst, along with impressions (I don't think that's possible) within 202 so I know what ads to kill off, and which to pump up. I am direct linking from FB to the offer.

Any ideas on the best workflow/setup here?

I do it the way this article details it: http://trevornashkeller.com/reviews/prosper202-tracking-tutorial

Quote:
If you are buying traffic from facebook, you can simply use a numbered system to track your ads. For instance if I break down a dating offer by males age 18-24 with the keywords mtv and vh1, I would name my facebook ad 001 and after &t202kw= add 001 so it looks like http://xxxx.com/tracking202/redirect/dl.php?t202id=xxxx&t202kw=001 I would do this for each ad in facebook so that I can track which demographic/keywords in facebook convert. Not only this but by only passing numbers to prosper202 none of the notorious spybots can ripoff any information you may be passing on in the t202kw variablethey would only get a meaningless number.
