It has been said that he who has the best negative keyword list wins.
This is a true statement because, with a good negative keyword list, you can re-introduce broad match (and shorter phrase match) keywords into your campaigns without losing your shirt. Since a vast minority of searches, according to Google, are unique and will never be seen again... if you are not using broad match and more general phrase match keywords, you could be leaving a lot of sales on the table.
So I have developed a tool to suggest negative keywords and phrases based on your campaign's historical conversion data. It was originally built to help me craft a negative keyword list with the data from my Tracking202 campaigns. Now I want to roll this out to the greater T202/P202 community and get it working with Prosper202 data as well.
How does it work? Well it first breaks down each visitors referring search query into 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 word key subphrases. Then it compares each sub phrase against the sub phrases which resulted in a conversion and computes the statistical significance of a sub phrase being associated with converting behavior (using it's conversion rate and comparing it to its peer's conversion rate). We then list the key sub phrases which have 25% or less of the average conversion rate (of phrases of X many words), with a 75% statistical significance (confidence).
Huh? Hit me up and I can explain more. Its not that complicated if you think through the problem, but the results are pretty accurate.
This is where I need your help....
I need folks to help me test this tool with actual Prosper202 data. I have tested it extensively with T202 but I dont have access to a P202 installation nor know anyone still on P202 to help. Sure you can obscure your data, but please keep it in the exact format it comes exported out of P202, so we can not chase bugs caused by re-saving export files in Excel.
To use the tool, click on the Visitors tab in Prosper202 and choose a single campaign. Set the date-range (and perhaps data source if you want to get that precise). You also want to show 'Real Clicks', not just 'Conversions'. Now export the file to CSV. Use this resulting file to upload to my tool located at:

I would love any feedback you can provide and any detailed reports of errors which may be encountered. I do not plan to charge for use of this great tool, and I am providing it as a way of saying thank you to Wes and Steven for creating such great free software and services.
