Hey, first of all, I just want to say congrats to Wes and everyone at 202, this is an awesome step for y'all as well as the industry as a whole, in my opinion. Not only do you obviously 'get it' when it comes to the affiliate side of things and especially tracking, I've obviously felt like you've all been open to feedback, comments and critiques.

A couple of quick things from my first 5 or so minutes as an approved member of the network -

1) Can we make this forum private? Right now, Google indexes it and non-members can read it. That makes sense for the help forums for products like Prosper202 where anyone can download it and use it, but for the discussion area about the network especially I think it might be better for everyone (and encourage more open discussion) if only registered users (ideally, only registered users that have been confirmed to be active partners with Revolution202) could view and post. Just a thought.

2) I noticed Revolution202 has an API - very cool. It actually got me to thinking about the bug/feature request I posted to the Tracking202 Pro forum several months ago about Tracking202 Pro not correctly accounting for 2 conversions from one subid. Would it be possible for y'all to setup the same/similar API for Stats202 and Tracking202 Pro for Pro members? That way I could write myself a script that downloads and processes the data to get the numbers I need for my relatively unique setup.

Thanks!

-Josh

Thanks Josh,

We are glad to have you as a part of the 202 community. Don't worry about people finding out about Rev202. It's an invite only right now, so it doesn't matter if people find out. To answer you second question, we have many new ideas and cool software to release. A lot of stuff that will make so many users happy. :)

Cool! I look forward to y'all's future releases; keep up the good work!

As far as Rev202 and the forum goes, I wasn't suggesting making the Rev202 forum private to keep people from hearing about the network.

I was suggesting making it private so that I and other affiliates could feel free to post things like posting about offers and the like - i.e., if the forum is public, I'm probably not going to post and say "Hey, can you tweak the LP for the acai berry offer by..." if the forum is public since I wouldn't want to put that level of information out there on a forum that Google has very, very thoroughly indexed. But, if the Rev202 portion of this forum was private (i.e., Google can't index it and you can't view it unless you're logged in, at least) I'm much more likely to post that sort of thing that can help us all out. Hopefully that makes sense?
