I looked around this forum for dealing with high volume traffic, and learned that its not that simple... I hope you guys have a few minutes to give me an advice.

One of my projects, comprised of a few different domains (on different hosts), brings in about 20k clicks daily, and rising. I need to prepare myself to handle 50k clicks/daily.

Currently I am not using prosper for this project, but I would really love to. Since this is my own stuff, I'll just use DL setup (which will put less strain on the system than LP setup , I think).

Few questions arise:

-If I use one instance of prosper, what are the hosting requirements for 50k clicks daily?

-I might decide to split the whole thing (for security reasons, plus in order to not put all eggs in one basket). In this case I'll use separate instance of prosper per site and actually host it on same site with the LPs. It'll mean that each instance will have about 10-25k clicks/daily. What would be the hosting requirements in this case?

-In any case, are there any recommendations from your side to maintain the DB, maybe cleaning it once in a while? This will run long-term (few years). I could dig in and learn how all tables are structured, but I prefer not to :)

Hope to get some answers, thanks in advance!
