I have created campaigns in Prosper202. I have been seeing lot of clicks from one IP address. I did a whois on the IP to find that it is google inc. My prosper202 & aff network click never match because of the excessive clicks from Google. Though the excessive clicks are not reported / charged in my Google ppc account, it does throw my prosper calculations off the track.

e.g. My Aff network reported 1200 clicks in the day for a campaign, my google ppc account reported 1259 clicks & my Prosper202 account reported 2600+ clicks.

I am being charged only for 1259 clicks by google but the propser account shows my campaign in red since the extra clicks are also taken into consideration for the calculation. So even if my campaign is profitable, prosper202 shows the campaign with 85% negative ROI. How do I correct this?

Hey Peter,

When Google checks for quality, they check your landing page, keywords and text ads for relevance. When they check your text ads, your click count will go up in prosper202, but Google doesn't charge you. I believe there is a way to correct the click count in Prosper202 by going into your data base. If you don't want to do that, then I have a work around for you (it's not a complete solution, but it can help).

When ever you start a new campaign, try to pause the campaign so there's no ad spend during the approval process. Once your ads are approved, then wait a day to unpause the campaign. The next day will have a new count.

I hope this helps
