Support

What needs to be added be direct track links in prosper202 for it to track and pass properly or does prosper add it after the forward slash /???

example

http://affiliates.ampedmedia.com/sw/123456/CD1234/???

what do I put here /???

Also, Stats202 is not showing any Offer Stats, or Subid Stats. Is not showing the correct Network earnings, and it is not posting the earnings to Prosper

Does Stats 202 update in real time?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Thanks

Alan

Hi Alan.

Those are good questions. It all depends on your network. Talk to your affiliate manager (AM) about the correct link structure for subids.

You need a subid token in the URL of some sort. I have seen the following types of token keys: SID, S1, SUBID. It all depends.

Here is the way it will fall on the end of the URL:

http://affiliates.ampedmedia.com/sw/123456/CD1234/?sid=

http://affiliates.ampedmedia.com/sw/123456/CD1234/?s1=

http://affiliates.ampedmedia.com/sw/123456/CD1234/?subid=

In your example that I have used above, there are no other tokens in the link. The first token always starts with a question mark. Any and all other tokens start with an ampersand. (&)

For more info on URL tokens, you can visit my blog post: Interesting and slightly useless computer tricks

Oh, Stats202 updates every 1 to 3 hours I believe.

Hi David

thanks for the reply. I forgot to mention these are contextual links. I talked with my am and they said

"There is no variable that is needed after the URL in a contextual URL. Whatever you input at the end of this URL http://affiliates.ampedmedia.com/sw/123456/CD1234/ will track in the optional info stats. So you would simply place whatever variable in your tracking system that will pass the sub-id to the end of the URL."

Here are the results of my test. I see only partial stats in Stats202

Network Earnings Tab - not showing EPC

Offer Stats Tab - not showing EPC or Total

SubID Stats Tab - does not show anything.

Can you help me figure out why?

Thanks

Alan

That is odd to me, but if I understand that statement correctly, all you do is place that URL in your affiliate link text box, and P202 will append the subid to the end of it. Be sure to include the trailing slash.

You are 100% right, I didn't tell them I was on prosper/stats202. Thanks

Do you think you could help me with these issues or should I post another thread?

I have only started using Stats202 this week, so I have no frame of reference.

(I'm just a moderator to the forums, helping out with general troubleshooting questions, and discussion. Start a new thread, it may help.
