Post subject: Problem filtering by Advanced LP on Analyze page
|
|
Hi guys
I am trying to analyze keywords and filter by Advanced LP. It doesn't seem to matter which LP I pick from the drop down, it always shows all my keywords.
I do have multiple Advanced LP's that contain the same TLD and have that TLD in the nickname.
Any ideas?
Cheers
Craig

Sorry about that craig, the advance landing page is kind of werid, there isn't any way to filter the exact results for that landing page yet in the filtering options. Your best bet is to get all the all keywords right now... as bad as it is that is really the only way to do it at this momment in time, next update should fix that

ok I"m going to put my thinking cap on and see if I can fix this issue, it is a huge change of code that is required, I'll see what I can do.
in the mean time still the best way is just to not filter by any landing page, and view all,

Hi Wes,
don't stress. I just noticed it.. the problem comes in when you have multiple advanced landing pages with keywords that are pretty much related and you can't really decide which keywords are profitable for which landing page. That's whats happening to me atm.
But if you feel that there is just too much work in it or that there's better things to for this upcoming 1.2 release, I surely won't say a thing. I mean, its free. What do I expect :-)
Thanks!

I am having this same problem. When I look in spy view I can see all clicks coming to my page's and keywords associated with them, but I can't figure out how to filter my results in the analyze window to see the results for specific pages.
So are you saying that I can't see results for specific landing pages?
If so, what do I need to set my filters to in order to see which keywords are bringing visitors to my pages?
I tried just entering the ppc network and account my ad is running in and then setting the aff network and selected a specific aff campaign that is on one or more of my lp's and I got no results returned.
Thanks in advance for any help
John

You can, for simple this isn't a problem, But on the advanced landing page, yes it is kind of messed up when your ANALZYE THEM.

You can select the ADVANCED SHOW MORE OPTIONS, and CHOOSE LANDING PAGES and then it'll only show traffic from landing pages.

Hi wes,
so is there atm. any other possible way to filter out advanced landing pages? I dont care if it's just an SQL query or something. It's just that I'd like to filter out two pretty important advanced landing pages and their converting keywords.
ps: Is this going to be available in 1.2?

going to see what I can do it is really going to be challenging though, ok, what LP analysis are you trying to do then? as we can probably do a custom query for it.

Hi Wes,
it's the Analyze-> Keywords function that I'm trying to use.
The thing I want is to filter my keywords on advanced lp's. I wouldn't need to do this normally, but both landing pages use approximately the same keywords and are in the same niche. Hope you get what I mean, thanks!

Eek that sorry I don't really have a fix for that yet, I can't really think of an easy way to do this at this momment, unless you were going to dissect the code some more, that query is abunch of different ones combined together so its harder to run it.

Hi GUys,
I don't know if this is related but I am NOT using advanced LP (I understand advanced LP to mean, multiple affiliate offers on the same LP), I am using 2 simple landing pages for the same offer. I want to filter out what keywords are going to one landing page and which go to the other. I am using keyword analysis and selecting method of promotion as "Landing Page" and whichever landing page i select from the drop down list of landing pages (I have 2 of them), I get the same keyword list.
Please let me know if this is a bug or I have some issue with the way I have set up my landing pages for tracking. If this is a known bug, is there any workaround or expected fix.
Thanks in advance!
