So I just installed Prosper202, set up my ppc site, etc within prosper.

I am trying to track clicks on a Wordpress 2.8 site using the Thesis theme.

The problem is is that prosper is counting a pageview as a click!! I can't figure out why for the life of me.

If I simply refresh my page then prosper says that I clicked on a link, which I obviously didn't.

Any idea's? I want to get this campaign started asap and this is the last thing holding me up.

I think I might be having the same problem. I just started a direct linking campaign on msn and have only gotten a hand full of clicks. However, my spyview shows hundreds of clicks.

Just figured out another problem.

I have the Spy window open and visit my page that has the tracking installed.

The second the page loads it shows up in Spy view. Haven't even clicked anything yet!!!! Yet it records it as a click.

Then when I actually click one of my links, using the url from prosper202, it never records the actual click!!

Ugh I'm so incredibly frustrated by this.

This happens using Firefox 3.5, Firefox 3.0.11, and Safari 4, AND IE 6. So pretty much every browser.

What's going on Prosper202 guys? I thought the software is only supposed to track clicks, not views?

Did you put your LP Javascript code on every page?

No. I set up an if statement so it only shows on a specific page ID.

You setup an if statement with the LP Javascript code? Can you tell me why?

Well it says that the inbound LP code should only be placed on the page that PPC visitors first arrive to.

Since I'm using the Thesis theme I can't simply cut and paste the LP code into the footer. Also even if I did place it in the footer it would run on every single page on the WP blog.

By using an if statement it places the inbound LP code directly before the </body> tag for only my landing page, and no other page.

I see... Try to move the JavaScript code right below the beginning body tag. If that doesn't work let me know.
