Hi Everyone,

Does anyone know how to solve this puzzle?

If I set up two ads using the same keywords, how

do I tell--in Tracking202--which ad made the sale?

I know how to find which keyword worked the magic,

but not which ad led the way.

Thanks,

Jason

Hi Jason,

You just need to create two separate links for the two ads, that way you can tell which link was responsible for the conversion.

Thanks for the post,

Alex

And thus I guess x2 separate ad groups in Yahoo / Google etc for the same set of keywords?

T202Lex:

When you say "separate links" are you talking about using different destination url's for each of the ads? This could get pretty messy. And as Rysk1000 asks, does this mean I'd need to use different lp url's for YSM and GG?

Pardon me for being a total newbie to T202 (I'm just setting it up and haven't used it yet), but I'm puzzled about why text ads are defined as they are, and how T202 then relates to the actual ad. How does it know if an ad came from GG or YSM (or any single ad within them for that matter)?

I would have thought that maybe T202 would require a URL parameter to be defined in each ad to identify it when it got to the LP.
