Hi Maccca,
Are you driving traffic to your wordpress blog, and then you want to track that traffic to your landing page? Can you be more specific on exactly what you are trying to accomplish, and I will see if I can help.
thanks,
Alex

I am trying to do this too.
I am using a wp blog as my landing page. How do I set it up so that keywords are tracked from adsense to my landing page and through to the affiliate offer?
Thanks,
JeromyS

Hi Jeromy,
Unfortunately we have certain limitations with our software and adsense is one of them. You can't track adsense.

I think Jeromy meant AdWords:
"...from adsense to my landing page and through to the affiliate offer?"
because you wouldn't ever have AdSense leading to a landing page. If you were the advertiser, that would make it AdWords.
Just my two cents, correct me if I am wrong (and pardon me).

This site is helpful yes, thank you. I did see it already too.
It confused me simply because the commenters stat a method that is easier than the instructions on the blog.
NickyCake says to add code to the footer.php file, while some commenters say they post the code into the post. NickyCake says this doesn't work for him, but a number of commenters say it does.
So......what is the easiest way to do this? Code to the post seems easiest, if it works.
One note that did come out of the comments on that page is that people say to use the advanced LP set up.
I am gonna spend a few hours today trying to figure this out.
Cheers!
JeromyS

Hi Jeromy,
I would recommend using Nickycakes's methodology, because he knows what he is talking about. You can experiment and if you do find another way to be easier and just as accurate please post it here.
Thanks,
Alex

Nicky cakes method does work.
However, there is a bit more to it, especially if you use Hostgator.
You need to contact your host and have them turn of modsecurity (so the redirect link works).
Really the easiest place to put the Javascript is within the post/LP. You need the Inline Javascript plugin. And you need to turn off the WP editor. Place the code at the bottom of the post/page (editor must be off) and it should track fine. Alternatively, I have Affiliate Theme, which is a premium paid theme. This theme has a spot to drop the code, so it makes it pretty simple.
