I apologize for the super simple question, but Ive read around alot about landing pages and cookies and pixels for 30days etc for T202...but am still unsure about tracking sales through searches/people who sign up to my newsletter through my ppc traffic...

??????IN T202CAN I TRACK PEOPLE/KEYWORDS FROM SOMEONE WHO:

***SEARCHES A KEYWORD, SEES MY AD, CLICKS

***HITS MY LANDING PAGE (ONE PAGE)

***OPTS IN,

***THEN RECEIVES MY NEWSLETTER (THROUGH AWEBER),

***THAN LATER CLICKS LINKS WITHIN THE NEWSLETTER EMAILS (clickbank AFFILIATE LINKS NOW REPLACED WITH T202 REDIRECTS)

***BUYS ON VENDORS SITE THROUGH CLICKBANK

?????????????

thank you so much

jcdb,

you can track keywords, ads and clicks. you can't track the opt in, but if you are using the redirect on your newsletter and someone purchases within 60 days (date of cookie expiration) you can track the conversion. So you should be able to see what traffic source eventually lead to the transaction. Our software is not designed to track opt ins, but will track the lead from traffic source to conversion.

I hope this helps, and thanks for the post,

Alex

I was just wondering about this subject myself.

Apologies if I seem a bit dim (I'm fairly new to tracking202). I have a couple of questions about how would I set this up.

First, where would I get the Tracking202 redirect link from to put into the email? Would it be same as the "Landing Page Outbound Tracking Affiliate URL" generated under the "Get LP Code" section?

Second, if I'm driving traffic to the landing page from a PPC campaign, in order to see which keyword/ad creative that generated the click-through, do I need to use Tracking202 code in the ad destination URL or just the plain URL for the landing page. If I should use Tracking202 code in the destination URL where would I get that from?

I hope you can clarify this for me.

Thanks

Nick

I'm no expert but I'll try to help. From what I understand, the process mentioned above looks like this:

PPC ad >> squeeze page (the landing page, w/ no affiliate links)

Then in a seperate process

Email sequence >> affiliate link

Yes.

Use the T202 generated url for your ppc ad. Get this in step #7 Get Links.

Let me clarify what I said above,

Email sequence >> affiliate link

should be

Email sequence >> T202 redirect
