Under Step 7 "Get links" in the Tracking202 setup it asks you to set a max CPC. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do with this since i have different bids per keyword, and it also looks like when I put an amount in, T202 assumes I'm paying that for every click, which is really skewing my data.

What is this field for? Should I just enter a really small number here?

Hi Chris,

This is intended to place your max bid for all your key words, but if it skewing your data I would suggest leaving it blank.

Thanks,

Alex

I have the same issue. I want to use T202 to track different performing ads (passing their subids as keywords) while doing CPM bidding on Facebook. But since we cannot update CPC costs for individual subids, it seems this is impossible.

Is there any way around this?

There's no real elegant solution really. What I do is after the campaigns have run a day or two, I take the actual average CPC and update Tracking202.

If you really want break down the CPC's, you may need to have separate text ads/ad groups. Even then, for each text ad/adgroup, you use the average CPC.
