I am using Yahoo and MSN

I am getting all my stats reported in Tracking 202. I have double checked and all set up sections seem to be set up correctly. The only problem I have is that the subid is not passing through to Clickbank for either clicks or sales.

This is the same case for Iframe landing pages, direct linking and advanced pages. I am running campaigns in all three modes. I must be missing something in one of the steps. I do have &Tid= in the Set Up Affiliate Link step.

In tracking ID for MSN I have inserted the {keyword} and have Yahoo tracking on for all campaigns.

What am I missing? Do I need to put {keyword} in the affiliate link like http://xxxx.river.hop.clickbank.net&tid={keyword}_ to get the keyword to pass to clickbank?

I am a bit confused by this as well. I added the &tid= to the end of my hoplink and I have made a sale on clickbank and no TID showed up in the sale report. Is this a problem with click bank or am I supposed to add something besides that to the end of the hoplink? Thanks

Correction I added ?tid= which is the proper syntax.

the correct format should be:

http://xxxx.river.hop.clickbank.net?tid=

leave it blank after the tid...

this should work.

Sorry for the late reply and thanks for the post.

I have a related issue/question...

the url that I got for the product I'm promoting looks something like this...

http://myclickbankID.nononsense.hop.clickbank.net/?w=10

I got this link with the ending "?w=10" because that was the landing/sales page with no pop ups or drop downs. But I'm confused as to how to add the tid= at the end to get the correct tracking. Do I simply go like this?

http://myclickbankID.nononsense.hop.clickbank.net/?w=10/?tid=

Will this be sufficient for Tracking 202 to generate tracking? It looks like a redundancy.

Thanks,

Don

DonMark,

this is what it should look like.

http://myclickbankID.nononsense.hop.clickbank.net/?w=10&tid=

Thanks for the post,

Alex

got also a problem with the subids ... my sales @ clickbank dont show a tid ...

so i checked the tracking202 redirect link with "Live Http Headers" ... the output is the following:

#request# GET http://redirect.tracking202.com/lp/2144999

#redirect# GET /lp/2144999

#request# GET http://xxx.wwwtv.hop.clickbank.net/?id=livesports-forpctv_sp&tid=

#redirect# GET /?id=livesports-forpctv_sp&tid=

...

so ... there isnt a value for the tid parameter ... but why?

:/

thanks in advance :)

thanks for updating, your post will help a lot of people with the same issue. If you want to explain exactly what you mean about placing the outbound php redirect at another domain to help some of our users it would be awesome.

Thanks for the post.
