I guess I must have set my tracker up incorrectly. I uploaded my SUBID stats, and but no converted clicks are showing. I manually looked for the converted SUBID and it's nowhere to be found in Tracking202.

I'd like to walk through my process for setting up all my links and I'm really hoping that someone can PLEASE help me and explain where I went horribly wrong (and if there's a way to figure out where that conversion came from) and how to fix it.

I had two PPV campaigns going for the same offer (for illustrative purposes, let's say it's ringtones... also, I turned cloaking on for everything):

CAMPAIGN A

Popup to landing page that contains three offers. The converted ringtones offer was a secondary offer.

How I set it up...

1. Created a campaign called Mobile Games, and put in affiliate URL.

2. Created two more campaigns called Ringtones and Love Compatibility and put in their affiliate URLs.

3. Created a Landing Page: Mobile Games > Mobile Games MySpace. Inserted the URL for the landing page.

4. Get LP Code: Simple Landing Page, method: landing page, selected Mobile Games > Mobile Games MySpace, generated tracking link.

5. Plugged the Inbound Javascript Landing Page Code into my landing page code.

6. I created a PHP file using the provided Outbound PHP Redirect Code for the primary offer (Mobile Games).

7. For the other two offers, I did some ghetto operation. I went to Get Text Ad Code, selected Direct Link Setup, pulled up the campaigns for the offers and generated the tracking link. I then plugged those tracking links into my landing page.

8. I went to Get Text Ad Code, method: landing page, Mobile Games > Mobile Games MySpace, entered the PPC info, and got the tracking link. I used this as my advertiser's destination URL.

9. FWIW, I didn't use Advanced Landing Page because I couldn't figure out how to use it properly. The Landing Page dropdown stays blank no matter what.

CAMPAIGN B

Popup to rotator script. Rotator points to two different landing pages. Each landing page is for a different offer.

How I set it up...

1. Three campaigns: Ringtones (same one as scenario A), Mobile Games (same one as scenario A), and a new one called Mobile Offer Rotator. For Mobile Offer Rotator, I put the URL for the rotator PHP file (and added ?subid= to the end) as the Affiliate URL. Rotator PHP file wasn't created yet at this point.

2. Did the setup for two landing pages: Google Ringtones and Google Mobile Games.

3. Got the code for the two landing pages. Used Simple Landing Page, got the Javascripts which went into the landing pages, and used the outbound PHP redirect codes for the corresponding offers.

4. Went to Get Text Ad Code, simple landing page, picked the landing pages for Google Ringtones and Google Mobile Games, and copied down those tracking links.

5. I created the rotator PHP file using the script found here. For the offer URLs, I used the tracking links from step #4.

6. I went to Get Text Ad Code again, simple landing page, and this time chose Mobile Offer Rotator. Generated the tracking link, and used this as my destination URL for my advertiser.

I'm guessing that the conversion came from B, which would be good since I'm only using one URL for that. Sorry for my idiot newbness. :(

And sorry, one other question while I'm at it.

Someone once told me that he doesn't cloak links (in general, not necessarily talking about T202) because it can create problems with cookies. He says as a result, there were occasions where he didn't get credited for the conversions. Any truth to this?

Carpaccio,

It looks like you have your account setup in the right direction, I have logged into your account and see your spyview appears to be pulling your subids. I am not sure exactly what is going on, but if you personal message me your lander to support@tracking202.com I can take a look and try to figure out what the issue is.

As for your second question cloaking should never impact you getting credit for a conversion.

Thanks,

Alex

alright still working on this looking forward to working with you directly on this but, I think we have opposite hours. Instead of direct linking the other two offers create redirect codes for them and set them up that way.

Let me know how this is progressing.
