I have three items (although one is feedback for the admins).
I'll state first off Prosper kicks some butt when it comes to PPC tracking. As a fellow software developer I understand and appreciate the work that has gone into making this software. Of course as with any software, including my own, improvements can be made which brings me to my first point.
1) Click through tracking for landing page.
Right now (at least with Prosper 1.2.1) there are two types of tracking (the most important granted). These include the ability to track the PPC clicks and the leads. However for those that run landing pages we really could used a third click tracking that tracks clicks from our landing page to the affiliate site.
Since we route traffic out with a link from Prosper it would be nice to see another field in the status that shows "Preleads".
So...
I) Surfer clicks on Google Adwords ad and visits landing page/site. Prosper tracks click and notes cost.
II) Surfer clicks on redirect link on landing page/site and is set to affiliate site. Prosper notes this click as a "Prelead".
III) Surfer generates a lead and prosper gets the information for campaign.
With the extra data we would know how landing pages are converting based on camnpaigns. For example we could see keyword one from Google resulted in 95 raw clicks (CPC costs), 19 "Prelead" clicks and 4 leads. We know have better information to help work on conversions or whatever.
This basically takes adding a column to the database for the click tracking and then updating the report queries and display to show the new field.
2) I noticed a post on here that mentioned impression support in Tracking202 Pro is this coming to Prosper202?
3) In the confirm newsletter email there is an error (at least in mine) with the confirmation link having http:// twice.
It read:
http://http://newsletter.tracking202.com/confirm/....
I thought the admins should know so it can be fixed.
