I thought I would help out by posting the link for the FTC BLOG/REVIEW SITE GUIDELINES that are going into effect that affect ALL search engines. Not just GOOGLE. The recent GOOGLE slap is connected to this.

This isnt GOOGLE being fussy. This is the FEDS stepping into our arena AND 'truth in advertising laws' being enforced on the internet.

Here also an article on how they will start monitoring and looking for review sites.

To me its CAN-SPAM all over again, but this time for the PPC element of Internet Marketing.

How will this change the playing field ?

How will we adapt ?

Yes, I know it won't 'get' everyone doing blogs/review sites. I am hearing more and more fall-out. ASE should be VERY interesting with this happening.

All the Best,

Phoenix
