Post subject: 2 Questions - CPC Update and Outbound Tracking Code
|
|
Hi All,
Just 2 questions to clarify.
1 - When I update my CPC in T202, there is a requirment to put in the from and to date and time. The time I suppose its US time ?
2 - I assume that the outbound tracking code is meant for any kind of landing page ?meaning regular landing page, iframe offer page ?
E.g >> I iframe my affiliate url link which is this >> http://www.plimus.com/jsp/redirect.jsp?contractId=1729942&referrer=cpamelvin
and just replace it with the T202 tracking code in the iframe link. Did i do the right thing ?
<iframe src="http://redirect.tracking202.com/lp/34498&frame=keep" width="100%" height="1000" scrolling="off" frameborder="0" border="0">
</iframe>
Thanks in advance.

1. Correct, you have to put in a time from and to, if you need to do all, just put a really long to and from, ie: 2006 to 2009
2. Correct, this is how you do the redirect code in an iframe, and just make sure the javascript code is above the </body>, but yes that is how you would do it.

Oh and one more thing. Since I am in Singapore, which US time exactly I should be taking ?

Hmmmm since you're in Singapore, you might as well pick Singapore time, which is GMT + 8??

Yeah what zpivat said!
You can adjust your t202 timezone settings here http://tracking202.com/account/profile

Hi zpivat and wes,
Initiall yes. I did put in Singapore time until I realised that most CPA companies reports are based on US time as well as PPC companies, so I thought that would be the case for T202 as well unless I am mistaken. ?

Ok, well you can configure t202 to show whatever timestamp you want. so it is really your personal preference. For me though for instance, because yes, CPAEmpire runs on EST time, and I'm on PST. So sometimes on t202 I just set my time to EST time also, *the same as the networks* so then when I look at TODAY's stats on CPAEmpire, it is the same stats on T202 (because they are both now gathering data for the same hours on the same timezone).
You can set it up however you like on t202, it won't affect any of your data. Sometime it just makes it simpler though to make t202 set as the same time as the CPA network. Thats what most of us do!

Got what you mean. Thanks.
I have a few networks so I got to check which timezone are they on. :)

I'm working with Plimus, trying out Prosper202. I've only used Google Adwords / Analytics up to now, so PostBack SUBIDs are new to me.
I don't see anything in Plimus support about SUBIDs.
Do you? I've posted a question on their forum.
