Several people on a massive scale have asked us if they could host our tracking software on their own servers. Originally when we launched Tracking202 beta to the public a few months back on February 3rd, we had no intention of allowing people to use our software on their own servers. There were several reasons but one of them was mainly that it would drive users away from Tracking202 itself. But we listened to peoples' wants, and we are going to give the marketplace what it is, a self-hosted ppc tracking application. And it is now all available on Propser202.com.

Tracking202 and Data

There were some that were afraid that if they used Tracking202 and all the data was hosted on our servers, that the Tracking202 team could potentially steal all their data. Those that have gotten to know us, meet us in person, or trust us enough to try out our software know what type of people we are and till this day, they still use Tracking202 and our growth continues to rise. This is an undeniable fact. I know it was hard for others to believe it, but we are not interested in your data. Now we're going to prove it.

Self-Hosted

There were several people who approached us and ask us about self-hosted version or plans for one. Many offered to pay good money for such a version, over $10,000. As a team, we sat down and decided to rethink things over. This wasn't to prove people wrong, but we thought about it, and if we were truly going to help affiliates succeed in affiliate marketing, we have to expand outside our own bubble. We're now happy to announce that we decided to create a self-hosted version of Tracking202! Not only is this great news, we also decided to throw in a self-hosted version of Export202! Double the bonus! Anyone and everyone who has doubted us, can no longer say we're doing this to steal data or whatever junk argument you guys want to bring up, because now it is self-hosted.

The Best Price You Will Ever See

Our original goal was to make Tracking202 free, and it still is. After all, we honestly do want to help everyone succeed. So if that was the case, it wouldn't make sense to charge you guys now, especially for the self-hosted version, even if people are willing to pay over $10,000 for such awesome software. Therefore, self-hosted version, will also remain FREE! I know many people will be asking, why would they do that. What is in it for them?!

Building Success and a Brand

While many of you may have a hard time believing this, we are truly trying to build a successful company. One that will have a strong recognizable name in the industry. Giving affiliates what they want and a tool unlike any other to succeed is the best way to do this. Free is a price you can not argue with and now, you can not argue that we are stealing your data or anything else either. Some of you will think we're crazy, insane even. That's okay, we know it too. Monetization will continue to be through selling ads from traffic received.

What's In It For Us

All we ask is, if you use our software, whether on our site or on your own server, is to truly be honest and give us the real deal on what you think. The publicity alone to help us build a name is good enough of a thanks. However, donations are always welcomed. Continuing with the "202" empire naming, the self-hosted will be under Prosper202. As a quick reminder, everything is still in beta so essentially there is always room for improvement. We will appreciate all the constructive feedback you guys can provide so that we may continue to improve on our software. Please keep in mind, we are not gods and we can only do so much. If you provide us with feedback, we will do our best to review over the feedback, and see what we can do. Nothing is guaranteed, but we will try.

As a bonus, we intend to try and give away the Nintendo Wii again. It is still a hot console and it is brand spanking new. To enter, simply write a review of our self-hosted release and we'll give you 5 entries into the drawing.
