Meet Ad Hustler and Ian Fernando [Video]

For those who attended our MeetUp202 event during the last Affiliate Summit earlier this month, you may have noticed all of the camcorders in the back corner. We used these to record several interviews during the summit to showcase what some affiliates are doing in the industry, and try to provide some valuable information to all of 202 community.

We'll start the first interview with Ad Hustler and Ian Fernando and dive into the topic of "Affiliate Marketing Partnerships" and scaling campaigns. This is also the launch of our new site, TV202, which will essentially be a holding domain for any future videos we create. You can see all of the videos we'll produce there on a variety of topics and everyone will be able to leave comments or feedbacks on the videos. There is currently only one video on there now, but there will be more following this video.

Without further ado, here is the interview we conducted with Ian Fernando and Ad Hustler.

Here are some of the other interviews we will be showcasing shortly in the near future including topics discussed, in no particular order:

If you are interested in being interviewed and have something worth sharing with the 202 community at a future event, please contact Steven at steven@tracking202.com for further details.

Hey Wes, this is an excellent video that’s worth watching twice.

There are a slew of tips and insider strategies that anyone from newbie to expert can walk away with and apply today to boost their own marketing efforts.

And it’s awesome to see the alliance that Brandon and Ian have formed together and to hear that sincerity. They’re the perfect example of the power that comes from “two heads are better than one”. Not to mention their level of trust and friendship … very cool.

If your future interviews are half as good as this one, count me in as loyal fan.

Had all kinds of trouble getting this to run - no sound even though I checked youtube & some random audio on the computer. All settings on the viddler screen suggested sound would be coming. Also, video would literally do an "eternal pause" while reporting "loading". I'll try again later.

@Bob - thanks! the other ones should be good as well, we tried hard this year to make them better than our last year's interviews.

@Matt - not sure why it wouldn't be working, but you can go here to watch it on voeh if needed: http://www.veoh.com/videos/v17326651pEKeF6db

    Some really good pointers there.

I love the "I don't really like people" and the "Donald Trump" of affiliate marketing.

Good job on the vids Wes, looking forward to seeing the others and hopefully you can interview me in New York (or SFO ad-tech) on what is working well in the UK/Europe and how to manage large scale PPC campaigns and deal with click fraud.

Good video guys! Thanks for all the little nuggets of information. I laughed out loud when Brandon said "I don't really like people". See ya at the next show fellas!

Hey thanks for the video. The video was geared more towards newbies but they did mention few interesting stuff for people already into PPC. I was particularly interesting in ways to expand my traffic to other sources outside of google, yahoo and msn. Media buying is one but i have no idea how to about it.

tried googling "media buy"? will require a bigger budget then PPC.

afterthought, also when testing the 2nd tier networks, be sure to keep the words as FOCUSED as possible because they can give quite some funky and irrelevant clicks.

We will have a video that covers media buys more in depth coming up. Please stay tune...
