DirectTrack Integration Issues
As you know Tracking202 Pro / Stats202 fully integrates with all of the DirectTrack Networks to automatically update your subids. DirectTrack has contacted and asked us to temporarily seize all of our api calls to their system, they can not handle the reports that we are trying to pull from there system. We wanted to simply just reduce the frequency that we pull the reports however, it wasn't the frequency that was the issue, it was the fact that their system was not optimized enough to run even a few reports. So even if we called the reports once per day it would entirely lock their system because it is not optimized enough.
So right now all DirectTrack networks will not be automatically tracked with Stats202/Tracking202 Pro, so you still can get your conversion stats, but you will need to manually update your subids into Tracking202 Pro untill we can get this all figured out with their tech team. We will be talking to them on monday.
All Stats202 users who rely on automatic postback url updating, will be broken for all DirectTrack networks until this is fixed as well.
All DirectTrack network integrations will be down, please for now update your subids manually for now. We will keep you informed on this issue as it progresses. And your iPhone earnings screen won't show your most recent DirectTrack network earnings untill this is fixed either. Below we've listed some of the DirectTrack networks that will be affected.

Makes you wonder if they are optimized enough to track all the clicks...

DirectTrack = garbage. This is seriously pathetic.
Cashtactics.net on May 02, 2009 at 1:52am
I know Convert2Media has moved from DirectTrack to HitPath.

Agree- this looks bad for directtrack. Reporting is one of the easiest things there is to scale. Just use replication. If they can't handle this then they might also be dropping leads.

Has this been resolved? I notice my stats are showing up for Directtrack in Stats202, but conversions aren't.

Is there any update on this issue? Does it look like Direct Track is going to get a handle on this? Do you think they even care about it?
Steven on Jul 30, 2009 at 2:20pm
Issue should be resolved already Don
